College Football Preseason AP Poll - AP Preseason Rankings

The college football preseason AP poll is now available for viewing and analysis. The AP preseason rankings have been out since the middle of August. In the AP preseason college football poll a 1st place vote gets a team 25 points while a 25th place vote gets a team 1 point.

The preseason college football AP poll consists of the following:
Six SEC teams
Five Big 12 teams
Four Big Ten teams
Three ACC teams
Three Big East teams
Three Pac-10 teams
One mid-major team is also in the preseason AP poll. That would be BYU.

Georgia, Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma, and Florida are splitting the number 1 votes in the preseason AP football rankings while South Carolina, Fresno State, California, Utah, and Cincinnati are just on the outside of the top 25 looking in.
